Recipe Notes:

This ale comes from the largest monastery brewery in Belgium, where the monks began brewing 130 years ago. Chimay Red has a copper color and an off white, tightly beaded head. The aroma is sweet and fruity, and the flavor is sweet, with traces of black currants.
